Wedding and Event Sales Manager (Full Time)

The Gig

As the Wedding & Event Sales Manager, you’ll bring dream weddings and unforgettable events to life while helping shape the next chapter of Ovolo Sydney. Working closely with the Director of Events, you’ll drive wedding and social event sales, create memorable client experiences, and deliver seamless events from initial enquiry through to execution.

 

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to build genuine relationships that turn into repeat business and incredible experiences.

 

This is a Full-Time position and flexibility in availability to work across the weekends is required.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage end-to-end wedding and event sales activities including enquiries, site inspections, proposals, contracting, invoicing and client liaison through to execution
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences and act as a true ambassador for the Ovolo brand
  • Work closely with Operations, Kitchen, Front Office, Reservations and F&B teams to ensure flawless event delivery
  • Maintain and update the sales database, ensuring accurate communication and client management
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through upselling and promotional packages
  • Support the execution of the wedding and events sales strategy to drive business growth and brand positioning
  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities to elevate sales performance and event offerings
  • Prepare weekly MICE and events updates including quotes, conversions, site inspections and business activity
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and industry partners
  • Capture guest feedback, testimonials and success stories to support the ongoing growth of the brand
  • Resolve guest and client concerns quickly, professionally and with genuine care

About You

You’re energetic, organised, commercially minded and passionate about creating unforgettable moments.

 

You’ll also bring:

  • Previous experience in wedding sales, conference & events or hospitality sales
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • A strong eye for detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Confidence working in a fast-moving and collaborative environment
  • A proactive and solutions-focused attitude
  • Experience with Opera Cloud or similar systems is highly regarded
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, events and guest experience
