The Gig

We are looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef who believes that the purpose of their existence is to transform guests' experience into an inspiring journey of discovery .As a Jr. Sous Chef, you will be assisting our Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef with the growth of our food offering, menu and workflow design in rooftop outlet.

  • You are a hands-on Junior Sous Chef with minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment, hospitality industry.
  • Have strong a la carte experience in multi outlet establishment
  • Assist in menu planning, implementation and execution
  • Controlling food preparation and managing wastage for your section
  • Lead by example as a hands-on-chef with excellent quality assurance and standards
  • Assist in the development through innovative and original menu planning and maintenance of high food standards
  • Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships at all times
  • You will enjoy being on tools and bringing our creations to life
  • Bring your on-trend ideas, new dishes, new concepts and new menus to make our food offering the best in the area
  • Good knowledge of WHS, food hygiene and efficient kitchen processes
  • Your team think you're absolutely fabulous and you LOVE to train your peeps
  • You work fantastically under pressure, are cucumber cool and a natural born leader who gets things done
  • You love the face-to-face guest experience and LOVE getting to know your guests
