Human Resources Manager - AU/Bali Shared Services

The HR Manager / Generalist is responsible for managing and coordinating HR administration and operational HR support for Australia and Bali Hub operations. This role is primarily administrative and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions effectively. The position involves overseeing HR compliance, employee engagement, training, and HR processes while supporting leaders in operational HR matters.

 

The role reports to the Group Director of Human Resources and requires the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal stakeholders across multiple locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Compliance (Australia)

  • Handle day-to-day HR administration for Australian hotels, including contract management, onboarding, and payroll coordination.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and compliance align with Australian employment laws.
  • Support performance management processes, assisting managers with documentation and employee relations matters.
  • Maintain HR records and employee files, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, including job postings, interview coordination, and reference checks.

HR Support & Coordination (Bali Hub)

  • Oversee HR processes for Reservations and Finance teams based in Bali, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the development, training, and incentive programs to enhance team performance and engagement.
  • Support leadership in managing team culture, engagement, and operational effectiveness.

Business & Team Support

  • Identify opportunities to minimise HR-related costs and improve administrative efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Leadership teams to foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR best practices, ensuring a high-performance work environment.
  • Assist in HR reporting and data analysis to support decision-making.

About You

  • Experience in an HR administration or generalist role, ideally in hospitality or a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support managers and employees effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive and adaptable mindset.
