Characters and mavericks, come one, come all. We’re after you with all your you-ness. The Gig The role of Front Office Duty Manager will suit someone who is always up for the next challenge. As a DM, you will be responsible for the hotel in the absence of all senior management. You will ensure that your team has the right support and know how to deliver Ovolo's promise of providing effervescent and effortless experiences to our guests. You will ensure a safe environment to all our guests and employees. This is a Full-Time gig and will require flexibility in availability to be able to work mornings, nights & weekends. Your responsibilities will include but not limited: - Make guests feel right at home with the ability to socialise, network and engage with them
- Take the lead on everything Front Office, supporting not just the front office team but reservations, housekeeping, maintenance and food and beverage
- Drive upsell revenue through effective team training
- Provide training, support and mentorship to future leaders
- Ensure an overall smooth running of hotel operations whilst on shift
- Assist Front Office Manager with preparing documents/hotel logs
