About You

You’re a hands-on engineering leader who knows how to keep things running smoothly  and smartly. You take pride in maintaining high standards, managing costs effectively, and finding better ways to do things. You lead with clarity, stay calm under pressure, and align your work closely with the hotel’s business goals.

You’re not just fixing things, you’re building reliability, safety, and performance across the hotel.

The Gig

You’ll take ownership of all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring Ovolo standards and procedures are consistently met while continuously improving how we work.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Actioning and prioritising maintenance requests based on urgency and importance, in line with the Hotel Preventive Maintenance Program and agreed with the General Manager

• Overseeing all internal and external maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness

• Communicating clearly on a daily basis with the engineering team and other departments

• Providing up-to-date and detailed maintenance reports during operations meetings and as required

• Maintaining accurate records related to repairs, maintenance works, rooms, and equipment

• Ensuring full compliance with fire safety and evacuation procedures, including overseeing the fire management system (equipment, alarms, and processes) and ensuring tests are conducted in accordance with legislation

• Leading, managing, and developing your engineering team through daily briefings, shift handovers, task allocation, and clear communication

And You’ll Have

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a hotel Engineering Department, at the same level 

• Strong technical knowledge across hotel engineering operations

• Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• A professional attitude that reflects Ovolo’s culture,  shiny happy people all around!

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• This position is open to Indonesian Nationals only
