The Gig The Duty Manager is key for maximizing guest satisfaction and for the strategic development of our hotel. This is a leadership role that requires people management skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to execute and follow through on projects. This is a Full-time position and will require flexibility within availability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Energize, motivate, train, develop, lead your Team in all things Front Office
- Supervise operations and assist with duties as required, ensuring the smooth running of Front Office according to Ovolo standards and procedures.
- Conduct show rounds around the hotel for hotel guests, clients and anyone who is making enquiries
- Oversee all requests from guests, including airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurant bookings and entertainment plans
- Manage Rostering of Front Office department to ensure it meets business demand
- Managing and ordering of all Front Office stock
- You love leading from the front & being guest facing
- Coach, develop and empower teams

About you - Demonstrate ability to drive Customer Service Programs and achieve desired results
- An inspirational and people person– lead, support and develop your Team Members
- A stickler for attention to detail, the little things count!
- Comfortable running your P&L, rostering and all things PMS
- Excel at getting great feedback via online reviews and a whizz when it comes to all things social media
- Full of energy and enthusiasm, with a strong determination to succeed as a team
- Ambitious to progress within Front Office
- Prefer someone with previous Opera experience
