Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Are you incredibly detailed, organised and love your numbers? We have an incredibly exciting new position to join our Finance team here at South Yarra.

 

The gig

  • Initiate and maintain effective control procedures to ensure all assets, liabilities, income and expenses are accurately recorded
  • Preparation, review, and analysis of daily, weekly and end of period management reports
  • Compile and analyse financial information
  • Analyse and control expenditures of all departments to ensure compliance to budgetary requirements
  • Collaborate with each Department Head on the financial performance of their outlets/departments
  • Completion of budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure a continuous training program for all Hotel staff
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Enhance team capabilities through professional development.
  • Lead automation initiatives and improve administrative processes.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory policies and corporate governance.
  • Develop processes to mitigate risks and enhance reporting accuracy.

 What you can bring

  • Proficiency with Opera Cloud and Future Log accounting systems
  • Experience with time and attendance and payroll processing systems
  • Experience with Excel and Word
  • Proven understanding of hotel operations
  • CA / CPA qualified essential 

  • Previous experience in the same or similar role with at least 2-3 years
