The Gig We are looking for a "switched-on" and seasoned IT professional for our Ovolo Group, Hong Kong Shared Service. In this role, you have responsibility for coordinating all aspects of IT, ensuring projects are successfully completed according to schedule and providing administrative direction for daily IT operational activities. What you will do 1. Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, assisting the Group IT Manager with the setup, maintenance, and operation of IT infrastructure, and escalating IT-related issues as required. 2. Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems, networks, and business systems such as Email, POS, and PMS, and coordinate the resolution of daily IT issues with vendors or the IT Manager. 3. Maintain IT records and perform day-to-day administration: - Keep an up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware, software, and licenses. - Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, such as managing user accounts, passwords, and access permissions. - Provide IT helpdesk support to team members, including troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues. - Ensure all IT activities comply with established IT processes, security policies, and company guidelines. 4. Support guest room technologies and hotel conference audio-visual systems, coordinating with vendors or the IT Manager as needed, and provide professional assistance to guests when required. 5. Assist with IT-related projects, including documentation, communication, and progress tracking, under the guidance of the IT Manager. 6. Respond to IT requests from Ovolo Management and internal teams while performing ad hoc duties as required, ensuring timely follow-up and completion. 7. Provide after-hours IT supervision support when required, including escalation of urgent issues outside normal business hours. About You You must be proficient in hotel information systems, PMS, POS, Network Infrastructure, Barracuda email security, M365, MS Windows administration and configuration; also fluent in English and Cantonese.
